Yes, that’s life.

It wasn’t love at first sight. In fact it was an awkward first meeting. She was standing below my house and I didn’t even know she was waiting for me. I didn’t even know whether I could guide her in any way.  But when I introduced myself, I knew there was some connection.
And slowly we opened up. Worked out ways to know everything about each other. Gradually we grew comfortable and started hanging out often. But it was only when we started listening music together that I fell for her.
She was an instant hit when I introduced her to all my friends. Everybody just loved her. She has met almost all of my friends. She knows everyone I know, and she knows everything I do… There’s hardly anything she hasn’t witnessed. And I have witnessed some of her weird moments too…
Like… boy, she drank a lot! Guzzled down so much that I went broke paying her bills so many times. A total drunkard. And her tantrums were legendary. Wouldn’t budge off the road if she didn’t feel like. It was embarrassing at times.
However, all that didn’t stop me from loving her. After all, everyone has flaws. And it’s often the imperfections that we end up falling for…

But after being together through thick and thin for six years, it came down to this. I had to let her go…
It wasn’t her, it was me. I got attracted to someone younger…
c’est la vie… oui oui oui.. :p

(Arhthaat… that’s life oui oui oui… [btw oui means yes in French])
